Due to an unexpected increase in runners this year, we ran out of 1/2 marathon finishers medals. They will hopefully be delivered to the Brighton Runnin' Gear store sometime in August.

The mission of the Hungry Duck Run is to raise awareness and funding to fight hunger in Livingston County. The event committee, organized by the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club, will obtain sponsors to cover the race expenses, as well as, create a series of runs to attract a variety of runners whose entry fees will also be donated to Community Food Bank Partners.
The series of runs shall consist of a half marathon and 5 K. One $5 raffle ticket for the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club’s Duck Race will be included in each runner entry fee. The raffle portion of the event will be held after both runs are over and announced subsequent to the 4th of July parade held on Main Street in downtown Brighton at the city’s millpond.
The $5 raffle ticket portion of the runner entry fee will go to the Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club, and other revenue from entry fee proceeds and sponsorship donations will go to support fighting hunger in Livingston County
